Description
Scott Gustafson illustrates this old saying Birds of a Feather Flock Together by using a flock of chickens with one little duckling looking totally left out. “At some point in life,” says Scott Gustafson, “we have all felt like the one who doesn’t fit in . . . the oddball, the ugly duckling. This painting is a visual explanation of that feeling, for when ‘birds of a feather flock together,’ there is always someone left out. What this little fellow may not know now, but will eventually learn, is that the swans have a club all of their own.” A wonderful illustration for that child or individual that feels left out to see it doesn’t really matter for if they continue to grow, learn, and become a person confident in their skills and strengths they will be someone special.
