Fiona (fine art canvas) by James Christensen
Faeries are breathtakingly beautiful, but they are also not to be trifled with. Celtic legends tell of men and women, captivated by the hauntingly unearthly music, who follow the faeries into the wood and are never seen again. Other tales describe the muses, faeries who protect artists and poets in exchange for those humans’ immortal love.
If you look closely, you’ll see the half-hidden subjects of her kingdom: flowers, animals and insects, hidden amid her garments. If you look closer still, you just might find exactly what you seek, but beware — the promises of faeries are fleeting and nothing is ever quite what it seems.
Fiona catches a glimpse of one of these bewitching beings, clad in a gown of cobwebs and moonlight.
