Victorian Romance by Arleta Pech is a framed open edition print.
Realism artist Arleta Pech was raised as the only child in a farming family of limited means. Art exposure came not from museums or art schools, but from paper, paint, and crayons. She could draw anything she saw, and worked as a commercial artist right out of high school. After a trip to the National Gallery, she found her calling as a realist, standing before “Fruit, Fish and Nest” by Dutch Baroque artist Abraham Mignon. She quickly became acclaimed for her still life paintings in which realism is presented within the symmetry of Classicism.
My goal is to engage the viewer on three levels: artistically, emotionally, and intellectually.
