Winter Splendor (fine art canvas) by William Phillips
Many visitors of the Grand Canyon National Park leave with the impression that it is a very hot place, but those who visit in the winter are privileged to see a different side to an iconic landscape.
Winter Splendor captures the sense of solitude, an essence of silence and majesty in a silent and majestic place, on the South Rim between Mather Point and Yavapai. It is a few minutes after sunrise, and while the warmth of the day is yet but a promise, the dancing golden glow of light upon the wall brings joy to the heart.
